I offer private, one-to-one bridal appointments at my independent boutique in Wadebridge.

Rather than trying to fit you into a particular style or rush you towards a decision, I take time to understand your wedding plans, your personality and how you'd like to feel on your wedding day.

You might arrive with a clear picture of your dream dress. You might have a few ideas saved on your phone. Or you might not have the faintest idea where to begin.

That's absolutely fine.

The lovely thing about trying on wedding dresses is that you don't have to know all the answers beforehand. Sometimes the dress that surprises you is the one you end up loving most.

One of the things I feel strongly about is that no bride should feel pushed into buying a dress.

Choosing your wedding dress is a personal decision, and you deserve to feel happy and confident about it.

I'm here to offer honest advice, suggest styles you might not have considered and help you understand the options available. But I'm also here to listen.

If something doesn't feel right, say so. If you love a dress but need time to think, that's fine too.

My aim is to make your appointment a positive experience, whether you find your dress on the day or leave with a much clearer idea of what you're looking for.

At Bridal Gossip, I have sample gowns in sizes 10–32, with different shapes, fabrics and styles to explore.

Not every dress is available to try on in every sample size, but I'll help you find options that allow you to get a feel for the styles you love.

There's no expectation that you should change your body to fit a wedding dress. The important thing is finding a dress that works for you and makes you feel wonderful.

Whether you're drawn to something simple and understated, romantic and flowing, or full of beautiful detail, I'll encourage you to explore what feels right for you.

Beautiful wedding dresses, with honest advice about your budget

Wedding dress shopping should be exciting, but I know that budgets matter too.

My new-to-order wedding dresses generally cost between £1,200 and £1,700.

I also have off-the-peg dresses starting from around £600, with sale dresses from approximately £350, depending on availability.

I'll happily talk through the options within your budget and explain any additional costs, including alterations, which typically start from around £250.

Being open about your budget helps me show you dresses that are realistic options, rather than encouraging you to fall in love with something well beyond what you planned to spend.

I've spent around 20 years working in the wedding industry, including eight years specialising in bridalwear and helping brides find their dresses.

That experience has taught me that every bride approaches wedding dress shopping differently.

My approach is friendly, practical and reassuring. I'll help you explore the collection, explain how different styles work and offer my opinion when you'd like it.
