Meet Caroline Griffiths

Hello, I’m Caroline – bridal stylist, wedding obsessive and the woman behind Bridal Gossip.

I created Bridal Gossip because I wanted wedding dress shopping to feel exciting, relaxed and completely personal. Somewhere you can explore beautiful dresses, talk honestly about what you love (and what you don’t), and feel comfortable being completely yourself.

Whether you arrive with your dream dress already mapped out or with absolutely no idea where to begin, I’m here to listen, offer honest advice and help you discover what feels right for you – without pressure or pushy sales tactics.

A life spent around weddings

Weddings have been a huge part of my life for many years. Alongside Bridal Gossip, I’m also an experienced wedding planner, working with couples to bring together everything from intimate celebrations to beautiful weddings across Cornwall and the South West.

That experience gives me a slightly different perspective when it comes to bridal styling. I understand that your dress doesn’t exist in isolation – it’s part of the bigger picture of your venue, the season, your styling and the way you want your whole wedding to feel.

Most importantly, I know that however beautiful a dress looks, it has to feel right for you.

The story behind Bridal Gossip

Bridal Gossip grew from my love of weddings, beautiful design and, above all, working with people.

I wanted to create the kind of bridal boutique I’d want to visit myself – somewhere welcoming and relaxed, where you can take your time, have an honest conversation and enjoy finding your dress without feeling that you’re being sold to.

Bridal Gossip has been based in Wadebridge since 2019, and today the boutique is home to a carefully chosen collection of wedding dresses from designers I genuinely love.

Every collection earns its place on the rails, whether that’s because of beautiful fabrics and detailing, inclusive sizing, the opportunity to personalise a gown or simply because I know how incredible it can make the right bride feel.

More than finding a beautiful dress

For me, a bridal appointment isn’t about telling you what you should wear.

It’s about getting to know you, understanding what makes you feel good and giving you the confidence to try things you might never have picked for yourself.

Sometimes we find exactly the dress you had pictured. Sometimes we discover that everything you thought you wanted goes straight out of the window!

Either way, there’s no pressure to make a decision on the spot. I want you to enjoy the experience, trust how you feel and know that when you do find the one, it feels completely right for you.
